The way he found to remember an episode of his childhood was to transpose in an Arrastadeira - borrowed by his friend Arturo Cortez - his art.

Will the Citroen C11 model, known as the “Arrastadeira” defines the works of Journalist and artist Antonio Colaço?

The“Arrastadeira” is one of countless works that the artist, passionate about art and animated by the word, recreated and decorated with what he calls calligraphy or transfigured writing, giving it a new life and usefulness.

He has covered it in a process he calls "writing transfiguration".

The transformed “Arrastadeira” is much more than an old model that has come to life, it is a piece that expresses and shares the connection and feelings of its creator.

Listening to the passion with which Antonio Colaço talks about his latest creation makes me want to know a little more about his works and listen and try to understand what is behind each one of them as the "Palavril” . raised in honor of the April captains and his old Sachs who dubbed the “Quadriga” that has accompanied him from youth to the present day and refuses to sell.

Will you stay by the Arrastadeira?

I feel that no, linked to the project Ânimo - Art at home, it is sure that it gets to work and what nicknamed "junk" new works of art.

After seeing the report last weekend, and having been published the post of reading and writing, I found it very interesting to leave you here this piece of a "Joana Vasconcelos dos Pequeninos"

To read more about his story and the artist I leave here the source:
