This last year was undoubtedly an important milestone for me, it allowed me to reflect and deepen the environmental practices that I exercise in my daily life, especially in my home. I know that I can make decisions and always do a little more to continue to change my lifestyle, especially by adopting ecological practices and reducing my consumer practices.
I'm praticing
Ornamental flowers and shrubs have been replaced by fruit trees whose irrigation system started to be made from the reuse of rainwater and drop by drop.
It is that piece of clothing that I like and is in fashion but that I choose to keep in the store, although, I confess, I still can't resist the shoes but I keep trying.
Undoubtedly an arduous task but a challenge that I remain determined to continue.
With this determination, the upcycle continues to be present in my actions and that was how the old farm skirt, only used during the pregnancy of my children, has been waiting for better days for a long time, ended up gaining new life and became a little pants and a warm cap for my granddaugher.
I'm sure that if I continue to look at what I have here, I will still find “material” ready to take on a new life and continue to improve my ecological footprint and contribute to responding to António Guterres' appeal at the last Climate Summit, which took place on the 22nd and 23rd of April - Let's Make Peace With Nature!
